Surgery, ouch.
I got an email from barb and she's back from the hospital. She's feeling pretty crummy, but the surgery went well. She will have a cast for at least 2 weeks. I will get to talk with her tomorrow, but she is planning to stay till Jan.3 as planned rather than spend a bunch of money to get an earlier flight. She has a good support crew over there so I think she's in good hands. Thanks for the kind words- j

...josh...you should seriously work on the airline, so that when barb shows up for the flight, she gets a seat next to an emergency exit...that way she'll have plenty of leg room...
...start the process now & barb could even get a note from her surgeon stating the leg needs to be elevated...thats a long flight(s) & if you're just a little bit insistent, they will probably be accommodating...
...when i say "just a little bit", i mean "don't take no for an answer"...
...hell, the airlines herd us around like cattle anyway, so make 'em treat your baby right...
...cheers & best wishes to both of you...
I hope Barb is healing and you are both happy.
Surprised to see race results for JSnead in fall 2007.
Thanks Josh for revealing the genius of the Chemical Brothers when you were last in Maine.
